Job Summary
The ERP Manager plays a central role in ensuring that an organization’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software runs smoothly, aligning the system with business processes to meet the company’s needs. This position involves overseeing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ERP system, which integrates various functions such as finance, HR, and supply chain management into a cohesive platform. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business processes.
- Collaborate with department heads and IT staff to identify system requirements, design solutions, and customize ERP functions to meet organizational needs.
- Manage ERP system upgrades, including planning, testing, and execution, to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and enforce best practices and policies for ERP system usage, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure the training of super users on the ERP system, working with implementation partner. Work with super users to develop end user training.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, providing technical support to users or facilitating assistance from partners. Maintain a lot of system problems and resolutions.
- Analyze business processes and ERP system performance to identify opportunities for improvement, making recommendations for enhancements or new functionalities.
- Coordinate with external ERP vendors and consultants on system customization, integration, and updates, managing contracts and negotiations to ensure favorable terms for the organization. Liaise with IT leadership to ensure contract standards are achieved.
Job Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Accounting skillset with an understanding of financial processes and reporting within an ERP system.
- 5 years of experience managing ERP Systems
- Understands manufacturing operations, supply chain management and production workflows.
- Experience with integration and data management, including Infor.
- Experience in Infor CloudSuite (CSI) and SAP a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP system configuration, customization and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify and accomplish tasks proactively.
- Effective communication skills in a matrixed organization.
