We are looking for an Estimator to prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate estimating software for insurance restoration projects by gathering information, including scope notes, photos, and measurements. The ideal candidate will be experienced in this field. The goal is to provide detailed Xactimate estimates so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Understand the position and its requirements
- Visit loss sites to gather all information needed in order to prepare an accurate estimate
- Create and submit estimate reports or bids to the proper adjuster or program
- Present company in a true and proper light to our homeowners in order to secure a contract
Skills
- Proven experience as estimator
- Good customer service skills
- Familiarity with insurance fire and loss estimating principles
- Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset
- Proficient in relevant software (Xactimate and Xactanalysis)
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Excellent organizational skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
