Development/Purchasing Agent

We are North America Distribution, a local online retailer located in Sellersburg, Indiana and we have an opening within our Development department. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized individual who enjoys operating a computer.

While we specialize in distribution of HVAC (Heating and Cooling) and appliance parts, prior knowledge in these industries is not a requirement. This position is responsible for the acquisition of goods, services, and materials necessary for the smooth operation of the company. This department ensures that products are sourced at the best prices while meeting quality standards and delivery deadlines.
1st Shift Position (7:45a.m. – 4:30p.m.) Full Time, M-F

Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand and effectively utilize pre-made Excel templates
• Creatively problem solve using relevant information from databases, vendors, and customers
• Day-to-day functions as needed, such as but not limited to:
• Correctly re-route online orders when inventory discrepancies arise
• Compile and submit daily inventory purchase orders
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Enter invoices and identify pricing discrepancies
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. Daily communication via phone and email
• Balance and prioritize additional projects with day-to-day responsibilities
• Use Excel knowledge to efficiently and accurately work with large amounts of data
• Use Amazon Seller Central to create, manage, and submit shipments to Amazon’s FBA centers, ensuring all product details are accurately entered and ready for fulfillment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
