At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:
- Evaluate current and previous financial data
- Provide financial analysis support for department managers
- Develop ad hoc reports, special studies, and financial analyses to drive business behavior
- Track KPIs as prescribed by ISO standards
- Create, upload, and print checks for accounts payable
- Assist with workers' compensation, business insurance, and annual audits
- Assist with the annual accounting audit
- Serve as Computer Ease and WorkMax Administrator
- Provide backup support to other groups in the accounting department as needed
- Perform other general administrative duties as requested

- Accounting degree and 5 years of experience in a job cost environment or on large-scale construction projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Awareness and reliability in meeting timelines for timely and accurate financial performance reporting
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with developing processes and procedures
- High degree of accuracy in analytical tasks
- Intellectual curiosity with a willingness to learn and develop new skills and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience in developing cash flows and forecasts
- Highest degree of integrity and character with ownership of responsibilities
- Knowledge of ERP Systems, preferably Sage 300 or Sage Intacct
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP accounting
