Höganäs in North America is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to work in partnership with managers and employees at our Johnstown, PA production plant.
About the position
The HR Business Partner manages the daily HR functions of the plant; including employee and labor relations, union contract administration, performance management, training, reporting and maintaining employee information. This position is responsible for the recruitment for all North American locations and participates on global teams and projects administered from our Swedish headquarters.
Your profile
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of five years HR experience. Previous experience working in a unionized environment is desired but not necessary. Ability to analyze situations, reach conclusions, make decisions, and effectively implement in accordance with policies and procedures. Proficiency working in word processing and spreadsheets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate information is required.
