Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Equipment Design Technician - III to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop electrical and pneumatic designs, PLC / HMI programs, assemble tooling, and setup / debug equipment for the NAL equipment build group.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Creates electrical and pneumatic designs using Autocad / Draftsight.
- Creates electrical and pneumatic BOM’s.
- R & D all customer and internal specified new technology to be able to successfully implement into equipment via setup, programming, etc. and train other employees how to implement.
- Develops machine PLC programming (ladder logic) (Mitsubishi, Keyence, etc.).
- Develops operator interface software (Mitsubishi).
- Marks-up design prints to provide feedback to Design about problems so that they can be updated.

Salary Range : $65,000-$75,000
