Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Tool Room Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, direct, and control all tool room activities and personnel across all three shifts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Develops preventive maintenance programs for all Thermoset and Thermoplastic tools.
- Evaluates all tool repair requirements for appropriate disposition - internal repair or outside tool shops.
- Prioritizes and plans workflow through tool shop to ensure effective and timely repair and maintenance of tools.
- Ensures effective manpower and equipment planning based on "Business Plan” sales projections.
- Ensures that all utilities and coolants are utilized in the most economical manner.
- Attends to all emergencies and requests from other supervisors in a responsible and professional manner.
Requirements
Your Background
- Journeyman Tool/Die Maker, plus 4 to 6 years of related industrial experience OR
- Associate’s Degree in Tool/Die Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 6 to 8 years of related industrial experience OR
- HS Diploma or GED plus 8 to 10 years of related industrial experience.
