Qualifications:
- Strong supervisory/management skills required (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Mechanical and Math Aptitude
- Demonstrate proficiency in work habits and productivity
- Ability to use a variety of inspection tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Dial Indicators, Comparators, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings is a plus
- Self-Motivated to get assigned work completed
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills is a plus
- Ability to lead; results oriented is required
- Technical knowledge of industry a plus
- Team and project management skills a plus
- Proficiency in CNC Swiss Lathes a plus
Daily Responsibilities:
- Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, daily department operations as well as any unforeseen issues
- Assist the Manager in all areas of the department i.e. - Evaluations, Discipline, Scheduling, Staffing, Supervising employees
- Promote teamwork and a healthy work atmosphere
- Monitor and prioritize workflow through the department and assign employees to various other duties as work load requires
- Ensuring maximum overall department efficiency
- Provide for training in the department
- Work to correct production or quality problems on an individual basis
- Promote a safe work environment
Physical Requirements:
- 100% Standing or Walking
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
