Job Description: This position is to provide data entry support to the claim staffs by performing assigned tasks and duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Update Litigation Module in Claims Cube (C3) with litigation information.
- Request missing litigation information from attorneys to complete module.
- Review and update C3 data as directed.
- Performs other assigned tasks or duties as required or directed.
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with accuracy.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software. (Microsoft Office platform.)
- This role requires extended periods of computer screen usage for tasks such as data entry, research, and virtual meetings.
- The ability to maintain focus and productivity while working for long hours in front of a screen is essential.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year degree or higher preferred.
- Previous Data Entry experience required.
- 2 years of customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with accuracy.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software. (Microsoft Office platform.)
- Position requires poise, tact, and diplomacy at all times.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, claimants, and other involved parties.
- Must have the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Requires lifting of files and boxes up to approximately 20 pounds.
- Repeated use of keyboard, mouse, and exposure to computer screen.
