Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing professional engineering services and technical support to the maintenance and operation departments. The successful candidate will work on re-designing, modifying, and re-engineering machinery and equipment to improve quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prioritize tasks for mechanical technicians in crane maintenance
- Analyze and define machinery problems to improve quality and productivity
- Redesign and re-engineer machinery and equipment to improve quality and productivity
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to increase equipment up-time
- Communicate and coordinate with maintenance personnel to provide technical expertise and support
- Define, prepare, and control work order jobs
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Technical Degree from an approved University/College
- Basic computer skills required
- One year experience needed in an Industrial Environment
Working Conditions:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Visual ability with or without correction is required.
