Position Overview
We are looking for a pro-active accounting leader to join our accounting team. The position is responsible for the monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting and reporting functions, and actively managing and fulfilling cross functional team requests. Will work closely with Senior Manager on policies, practices and reporting for the function.
Responsibilities Can Include :
- Monthly local close process by BD3 to report to Corporate Accounting and FP&A.
- Reconciliation of Intercompany Transactions and Balances
- IFRS 9 Calculation.
- Participation in annual budget process.
- Ensuring compliance with company internal controls and policies.
- Monthly operating variance analysis.
- Fulfillment of external and internal financial audit and tax requests.
- General Ledger account reconciliations, including maintaining oversight of bank accounts.
- Customer and vendor rebate accruals and tracking.
- Fixed Asset Maintenance.
- Running Payroll for local entity
- Sales tax reporting to multiple jurisdictions.
- Federal and State filings and registrations including monitoring of Nexus.
- Proactive facilitation of process improvements and problem solving.
- Supervise, develop and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis and other duties as assigned.
- Manage and provide oversight to the AP / AR and billing Manager.
- Support multiple entities in region while leading a team of 3 .
