Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage schedules, and communicate with team members.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Manage project budgets effectively, monitoring expenses and resource allocation throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and implement solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing as needed during the construction process.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software (e.g., HeavyBid) and proficiency in using technology for project management.
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.
- Experience in budgeting and financial oversight related to construction projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and engage with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus but not mandatory.
