- Maintains and improves facility grounds
- Utilize planned designs to determine landscaping needs
- Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etc.
- Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches
- Operate various types of equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers, etc.
- Clean and upkeep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.
- Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools
- Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
- Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch
- Picking up trash and debris
- Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe
- Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customer
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager

- Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner
- Valid Drivers License
- Must have the ability to bend, squat, and frequently lift 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 80 lbs
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to withstand working in heat, rain, sun, and cold
- Must be able to work around fertilizer and registered pesticides
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
- A high school diploma is a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
