What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Resource Manager position at North Branch Construction?

- Reports to – General Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Daily local travel between jobsites.
- Retains non-exempted talent to meet the workforce needs of the Project Manager and Project Superintendents to ensure project quality and deadlines.
- Partners with Human Resource to recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified non-exempt field applicants.
- Work collaboratively with field, office, and management staff.
- Attend required Manpower Meetings, providing field location report for review and discussion.
- Assist Tools & Equipment department when needed with the coordination of tools and equipment for job sites.
- Monitor field personnel performance and assist Superintendents with addressing concerns or issues that occur utilizing HR when needed.
- Studies long-range projects their impact on future growth of the field labor.
- Work with HR to coordinate and lead quarterly field performance review meetings.
- Providing Human Resources and the Directors recommendations on annual increases for non-exempt field personnel based on review of evaluations and performance.
- Evaluates labor requests and allocates labor on weekly and daily based on tasks, skill, and location of field personnel.
- Meets annually and as needed with non-exempt field personnel to review evaluations, performance, and training opportunities.
- Coordinate with field management, safety and human resources to schedule and track field training.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the General Manger.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full time salary position. Expected hours of work are 40-45 hours per week.
- Hires and trains non-exempt field personnel.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
- Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures.
- Oversees performance evaluations process for non-exempt field personnel.
- Oversees personnel-training programs and identifies training needs.
- Handles discipline and termination of non-exempt field personnel as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Education & Experience: High school diploma required, 5 years in a field supervisory role in the construction industry.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
