Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position | The Director of HBCU STEM Leadership, working closely with the PI, will oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of strategic initiatives for the Center for the Advancement of STEM Leadership (CASL) Education unit. This role supports the leadership vision by managing projects, including the professional development series short courses and Leadership Academy, ensuring alignment with the goals of the National Science Foundation (NSF) grant. The Director will also lead efforts in securing additional funding, recruiting program participants, and coordinating educational content across the Learning Management System (LMS). With a strong focus on supporting HBCUs and STEM leadership, this position will ensure operational excellence and program success. |

CASL's Education Unit is focused on fostering leadership development in STEM at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through various initiatives, professional development, and innovative educational programming.The grant is housed in the Honors College at NC A&T. |
