Primary Purpose of Position
The Undergraduate Admissions at North Carolina Central University is seeking candidates to fill a position of Admissions Counselor. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Serves as a member of the Admissions Team managing a recruitment territory to assist in achieving enrollment objectives for the university; Reviews, authenticates and makes offical admissions decisions on behalf of the university; Conducts research on assigned territories and performs analysis of admissions eligibilty; Implements recruitment strategies as outlined in the admissions plan in the assigned territory to include high school and community college visits; Minimum Education / Experience A Bachelor’s degree, outstanding public speaking, oral and written skills, excellent computer skills, outstanding customer service skills and a valid driver’s license.
