The North Carolina Community College System Office seeks a Director of ERP Operations to join their Information Technology Team. This strategic leadership role is responsible for the enterprise resource planning technology solutions operated, maintained, and supported by the System Office. These solutions provide business automation for the System Office, the 58 North Carolina Community Colleges, federal, state, and local partners, and over 500,000 students, staff, and faculty. The Director of ERP Operations position requires proven systems administration skills, the ability to demonstrate and deliver excellent customer service, and the knowledge necessary to mentor a team of talented, seasoned application developers and systems administrators who are subject matter experts for their technical and functional domain areas.
Responsibilities
- Systems Administration skills in Red Hat Linux, Amazon Web Services, Ellucian Colleague and/or Ellucian Banner
- Knowledge of Configuration Management and Software Release best practices
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell and/or Java
- Programming skills in C#, JSON, and/or ASP.NET
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
Management Preferences:
- Rocket Unidata Programming skills
- Experience with AGILE Methodology; ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Office 365 programming and configuration skills
- Understanding of SA Valet, DMI, SFTP, and Apache
- Industry Recognized Professional Certifications from Accreditors such as PMI, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Red Hat, Google, AWS, Lean Six Sigma, and/or TOGAF.
- Ability to manage Systems Integration using application program interfaces
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and servant leadership skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive experience in systems software programming;
OR
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of progressive experience in systems software programming;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
