About the Department | Enterprise Application Services (EAS) is in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) division at North Carolina State University. EAS is responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, operation, enhancement, maintenance and configuration management of the University's enterprise business applications, data warehouses, business intelligence/analytics platforms, and databases. Supported enterprise administrative systems and associated databases include: the Financial, HR, and Student Information Systems; MyPack Portal; the non-credit education system; business intelligence platforms; and the research administration system. Essential Job Duties | Enterprise Application Services (EAS) in the Office of Information Technology seeks an Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect and Development Lead. This position leads the technical design, development, implementation, enhancement, and operation of the University's centralized repository of enterprise data assets. The position is responsible for designing and maintaining an efficient and scalable enterprise data warehouse solution that enables business intelligence and analytics solutions that provide actionable data to campus. The Data Warehouse Architect partners with various stakeholders, business leaders, enterprise application developers, data analysts, and BI content developers to ensure that the data warehouse provides the foundation needed for data-driven decision-making across the University. Hybrid remote and on-site work location options are available. |
