| Essential Job Duties |
NOTE: This is a Grant Funded Position and is time limited - Two Years. The Marketing Manager for the Risk Assessment for the Wolfpack Behavior Assessment and Threat Management Project will be responsible for strategic development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications plan. Key in developing a consistent brand image that is innovative, dynamic and reflective of NC State's Department of Risk Assessment and the Wolfpack Behavior Assessment and Threat Management Project. This position will be essential to the success of the social awareness, bystander awareness training, and digital marketing campaign. The person that serves in this role will need to be creative and able to develop unique promotional material and gain access to our campus partners. This position will develop creative content (i.e., special visual effects, animation, narration, and sound effects, editing features, database of resources, and additional graphics to increase engagement and bystander awareness. Assisting with the department newsletter and department website updates to include development and management of the grant website. Work with team members in developing and implementing marketing programs and materials to attract and engage the community through a variety of media including but not limited to print, web, and social media. This position will be involved in the research, planning and will coordinate and manage projects from the storyboard to the details of the shoots, to the deployment phase. This position will also assist in vetting contracts with outside video production services to complete our video marketing programs. It will be vital for this position to develop core relationships with other marketing managers/communications specialists across the University to accomplish program outcomes necessary for this grant. Overall, the marketing manager conceptualizes, executes, and oversees the creation of all marketing, communications and print material on behalf of the NC State Department of Risk Assessment. |
