General Labor / Entry Level / Saw Operator

North Central Machine in Appleton, WI is accepting applications for entry level / general labor. If you are mechanically inclined, detail oriented, have good attendance and work ethic, and are good with your hands then this is the job for you! This is a first shift position, no nights or swing shift.

Job duties will include but not limited to:

-Load / unload trucks using forklifts.

-Grind or deburr all incoming materials to prep for next operations.

-Check incoming materials, operate saws to cut raw material to size prior to machining.

-Must be able to accurately read a tape measure within 1/16"

-Monitor inventory for current jobs.

-Route incoming jobs and orders to the correct departments.

-Production machining, changing parts, etc.

-Shop and machine maintenance, filter replacement, de-greasing machines, helping operators with setups where needed.

-Deliver parts to local customers. Clean driving record required.

-Prep parts for painting.

-Paint customer's parts.

-General maintenance.

-Light janitorial work consisting of cleaning, empty trash, etc.

-Must be able to work efficiently and safely with minimal supervision.

Applicants must have a current and up to date driver's license.

Benefits and compensation will include paid holidays, vacation, health, 401k, PPE reimbursement for those eligible.

This is a physical general labor position that will require occasional unassisted lifting of up to 50#, work positions are standing, sitting.

Previous job shop experience is preferred, but not necessary.
