What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Service Worker position at North Central Regional Transit District?
Perform routine custodial and maintenance duties.

Education:
Licenses and Certifications:
- Serves as a member of the Fleet Operations maintenance team; pre and post trips vehicles, collecting debris and equipment; performs fleet interior and exterior vehicle cleaning.
- Fuels or charges vehicles.
- Acts as a “shuttling” driver to relocate buses and other District vehicle inventory to needed to service sites or to deliver to maintenance locations.
- Assists as a mechanic helper; provides hands-on help to mechanics engaged in complex operations.
- Washes and cleans buses as needed
- Observes and complies with all District and mandated safety rules, regulations, and protocols.

Education:
- Sufficient education to demonstrate an aptitude to perform duties.
- Sufficient experience to demonstrate an aptitude to perform duties.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver’s License, to be maintained throughout employment.
- Possession of, or successful acquisition within six (6) months of employment, a valid State of New Mexico Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A or B) with multi-passenger “P” endorsement and airbrake certification, to be maintained throughout employment.
