Role Overview:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with the Business Manager and Operations Manager to ensure our greenhouse facility's smooth and efficient operation. From managing day-to-day inventory, transportation, and health and safety initiatives, you will play a key role in helping our business succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track inventory across packing materials, growing supplies, seeds, PPE and other critical materials.
- Procure materials and supplies for greenhouse operations, maintaining inventory levels and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate shipment and pickup of products for customers.
- Responsible for creating accurate Bill of Ladings and Invoices for the customer.
- Work with the harvesting team to ensure the proper materials have been harvested and the orders are fulfilled.
- Manage the company trucks and ensure DOT and UCR compliance.
- Ensure truck drivers are adhering to food safety standards; shipping procedures and associated paperwork is completed.
- Enforce health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite systems preferred.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge and ability to help with our health and safety plan is plus!
