What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior High Language Arts Teacher position at North Country Junior High School?
The North Country Union Junior High School seeks a creative, collegial, and motivated teacher to join our middle school team and school family. Our school mission is to be a community that shares the responsibility for the intellectual and personal development of all learners within an environment of trust, safety and respect.
Qualifications: Applicants must demonstrate extensive knowledge of Language Arts as well as standards-based curriculum and authentic assessment. Must be able to differentiate instruction and be a team player. A working knowledge of the Vermont Standards and Grade Expectations is also essential as well as a willingness to implement school-wide initiatives.
Salary & Benefits: As per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement. Must have or be eligible for appropriate Vermont Agency of Education licensure.
