What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Sanitation Cleaner position at North Country Smokehouse?
North Country Smokehouse has a current opening on the Night Sanitation crew. This position is Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays, from 6 PM – 2:30 AM. Must have at least 1 year of experience in this field.
This position requires working nights and will be cleaning/sanitizing, dismantling and putting back together the machinery in the production rooms, while ensuring safe actions, environmental compliance, and quality production in a Good Manufacturing Practice food-grade operation. All in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES :
- Cleaning/Sanitizing machinery
- Dismantling and putting back together
- Establishes a strong team spirit in its departments by promoting communication and respect
- Performs other tasks at the request of his immediate superior
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Mechanically inclined
- Previous cleaning/sanitizing experience is a must
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong commitment to teamwork and concern for others (promote a team-building environment)
- High level of personal responsibility and ownership
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work in a cold/hot environment
- Team Player
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to wear safety steel or composite toe boots
- Good attendance
- Good work ethic
- Follow and promote safe work practices
- Attention to detail
- Ability to pass Criminal background check, Physical and Drug screen
