POSITION SUMMARY
The Martial Arts Instructor provides an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and physiological growth. In conjunction with providing instructional programs that results in students achieving martial arts success in Tang Soo Do. The Instructor works closely with the Owner and Lead Instructor to develop, monitor, and implement various curriculums.
JOB DUTIES
- Provide instruction on rank-appropriate Tang Soo Do Mu Duk Kwan techniques
- Foster discipline among students within the studio
- Supervise students to ensure physical and emotional well-being
- Handle one-time POS transactions
- Examine new opportunities in potential markets
- Act as a brand ambassador on social media on a weekly basis
- Train in martial arts classes two times per week
- Assist Owner on other activities as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching and teaching, particularly in martial arts disciplines.
- Strong background in physical education and childcare.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
