What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Assistant II position at North Dakota Dept. Of Mineral Resources?
Summary of Work
If you are deadline-oriented with a great attention to details, this would be a great job for you. If you have experience with Graphic Design, answering phones calls, emails and assisting with the occasional walk-in traffic from the public, you are the person we are looking for. Our Geological Survey department will guide you to success and assist you as you learn about the team.
- Layout and design scientific publications, newsletters, and posters.
- Word processing for professional staff.
- Preparation of miscellaneous spreadsheets and tables.
- Digital scanning and organization of 35mm photographic slides from Survey archives.
- Run credit card payments and create invoices for publication sales and permit fees.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree and experience in a professional office setting.
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with web design platforms, such as WordPress or Drupal.
