IT Service Center Associate

Description & Details: This position is an essential part of the IT Service Center. The individual in this position coordinates card production functions for the IT Service Center; coordinates processes and education for the NDSU Record Management program; and serves as a leader and role model for employees in customer service and teamwork. Work Schedule: University office hours, customarily M - F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Advertised Salary: $43,000

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong and effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience in working with advanced functions on Microsoft office suite, including Excel
• Experience in documentation for websites
• Demonstrated capacity for self-directed learning.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and in collaboration with users, vendors, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with working with MS online services, such as SharePoint, Teams and Power BI
• Graphic design experience
• Experience using software related to ticketing, billing or inventory management
• Experience in staff training
• 2 years of Higher Education Experience
