Description & Details : This role serves in a position of trust and collaboration with the Williston Research Extension Center (WREC) director in maintaining accurate financial records and efficient operations in the Center. Managing work flow and compliance with diverse policies and procedures is a must in this role with extensive needs at the WREC. Coordinating reporting and procedural operations are major duties in this role. Event coordination and outreach on behalf of the WREC is a key part of the role in maintaining public awareness and building relationships with stakeholders. Supporting the WREC director in tasks at the Center as a valued member of the administrative team is an important part of this role.
Position openings : 2
Work Schedule : 40 hours per week on a regular basis. Some weeks with major events will potentially find additional hours on an infrequent basis.
Advertised Salary : Negotiable
Minimum Qualifications : Associates degree OR High School Diploma (or GED) and practical experience in office procedures.
Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in business management OR 3 years of successful experience in office management, business procedures, record keeping, or service as an administrative assistant.
Core Competencies :
Experience with Microsoft Office Software such as Excel, Word, Outlook or capabilities with similar computer software programs that can be readily transferred.
- Ability to be detail oriented;
- Ability to learn and transact complex coding of financial records;
- Display traits for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
Demonstrate effective and professional communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal)
