What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration Processor position at North Dakota Workforce Safety & Insurance?
Summary of Work
The Registration Processor is responsible for:
- Entering new injury information into WSI's computer system.
- Determining claim jurisdiction/coverage.
- Managing mail received.
- Contacting injured workers, employers, and providers for missing information.
- Assisting customers who come into the building by working the front desk.
- Index documents (data entry of document properties such as claim number, document class, document type and pertinent dates).
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Two years of clerical work experience.
- Additional education in office administration or business may substitute for the work experience requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical and/or insurance terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
