EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, marketing or a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university
Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, marketing or a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university
Three years successful experience in communications, public relations, marketing, fundraising, event planning, project management, creative writing or volunteer coordination
High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY :
Assists in building relationships, gathering, developing and disseminating information about the NEISD Partnerships program and the North East Educational Foundation (NEEF).
OTHER INFORMATION:
This regular, full-time position will effort their time in 50% partnership-building for NEISD Partnerships and 50% promotion of the North East Educational Foundation (NEEF). The location for each is in the Partnerships Department at the Richard A. Middleton Education Center.
Assists in building relationships, gathering, developing and disseminating information about the NEISD Partnerships program and the North East Educational Foundation (NEEF).
OTHER INFORMATION:
This regular, full-time position will effort their time in 50% partnership-building for NEISD Partnerships and 50% promotion of the North East Educational Foundation (NEEF). The location for each is in the Partnerships Department at the Richard A. Middleton Education Center.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support in cultivating current and creating new strategic community and business relationships.
2. Coordinate logistics for various programs and events to include, but not limited to, the following business development functions: sponsorship generation, customer relations and business communications; event planning and marketing; volunteer coordination and tracking and reporting.
3. Create communications plans and deliverables for events and regular promotion to include, but not limited to, the following: public relations strategies; feature stories (print and online); web content management; social media management; media relations; and other integrated marketing communications duties.
4. Manage the NEISD Partnerships Portal (online District partner and employee discount directory) and the NEEF website portal.
5. Generate positive publicity for NEEF and NEISD by seeking grant success stories from our campuses and departments.
6. Utilize graphic design skills to create and design content for printed and digital brochures to promote Partnership and NEEF branding and events.
7. Photograph Partnerships and NEEF events.
8. Produce high-quality, professional videos highlighting the impact of NEEF grant programs.
9. Provide tracking and reporting of social media data.
10. Manages, in coordination with the team, the production of campaign materials, supporting documentation, and other correspondence, as required.
11. Constantly seeks to improve NEEF and Partnerships by maintaining a high degree of knowledge on technical, social media, and business development trends.
12. Assists with setup and pickup of equipment when necessary.
13. Occasionally required to drive a personal vehicle to perform assigned tasks.
14. Maintains confidentiality of information.
15. Reports to work every day and must be able to attend some events and meetings outside of regular work hours for events.
16. Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must frequently drive personal vehicle in the performance of assigned tasks.

The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

- Strong attention to detail and organized project manager
- Creative storyteller and promoter through social media and print articles
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite of applications including; Illustrator Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign
- Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills, persuasive and diplomacy skills
- Basic photography skills, DSLR knowledge preferred
- Ability to adapt and learn new software
- Ability to excel working independently with minimal supervision (self-starter)
- Must be able to handle more than one project at a time, meet deadlines and work cooperatively in a fast-paced office
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
