Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, treatments, and insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize dental software system Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of care plans and communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence is required.
- Experience in customer service/front desk is a big plus.
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and dental terminology is very helpful.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
