Information Technology Support Level I
Jacksonville
We are looking for an energetic technician who can take ownership of tickets and see them through completion. Someone that is capable of being an independent thinker, but can work as part of a team. The successful candidate will be an individual who has a great passion for computers and technology and always interested in learning something new.
Essential Functions:
- Support day to day trouble tickets regarding hardware and software.
- Maintain/Setup/Configure Electronic Health Records, or other specialized company software.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, tablets, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Network cabling, terminations, routers, switches, access points, and phone installations.
- Excellent communication skills at technical and non-technical levels.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm courteous and efficient manner.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and problem solve under pressure of deadlines.
- Treat all staff with courtesy and respect.
Physical/Mental Demands: Frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting and installing equipment up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An associate's degree, or equivalent work experience, is desired. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Reliable transportation needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Computer network wiring experience.
- Microsoft 365 management experience.
- Understanding of clinical terminology.
- Experience working in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
Job Environment: Position is helpdesk role for a Healthcare business with many locations throughout North Florida. This position will be based in Fort Walton Beach, and will require frequent daytime travel to offices in the Florida Panhandle. Occasional overnight travel required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
