What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIRECTOR OF CENTER OPERATIONS - TALLAHASSEE, FL position at North Florida Medical?
Supervises and collaborates with center managers to create budgets and improve the workflow processes for each center through analysis and teamwork. The Director of Center Operations is responsible for helping to update and develop corporate policy. This person in this position must possess proven leadership skills, as well as a strong ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that encourage corporate and center growth.
SCHEDULE/HOURS
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Evenings and weekends as needed
WORK LOCATION:
- In Person
- Must travel to our 10 centers throughout North Florida regularly. Centers are within 150 miles of Tallahassee, FL. Rarely is travel overnight.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in an administrative or management discipline.
- Five years of work experience in the healthcare field. Work experience in a clinical setting is required, with primary care doctor’s office or hospital experience ideal.
- Master’s degree in administration with a concentration in management, or related business specialty, is strongly preferred.
- A professional, clinical degree, such as a BSN, may be substituted for the undergraduate degree.
- A clinical background, while not required, would be an asset.
- Knowledge of managed care would be most helpful.
- This is primarily a people management position; hence human relations skills are paramount.
