We are looking for dedicated Surgical Coordinators for our rapidly growing practice!
The Surgical Coordinator is committed to guiding the patient through the surgical process in a warm and comforting manner. They support the patient journey throughout the surgical process, from education, scheduling surgical and pre / post-operative visits, and assisting the patients while preparing for surgical treatments.
No experience necessary - Willing to train the right person!
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (preferably ophthalmology)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- COVID19 Vaccination or Proof of infection within past 90 days
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in similar role preferred
COA or COT certification is preferred
