Responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and documenting restorative programs for residents to maintain or attain the highest practical level of functioning in accordance with Facility policies and government requirements and regulations.Essential DutiesSupervises, trains, schedules, evaluates Restorative Nursing Assistants.Works closely with therapy to create and implement resident restorative programs s upon admission and as needed.Adjusts and documents changes to resident restorative programs based on periodic evaluations.Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, the Infection Preventions serves as a support person within the facility, providing guidance and education; assistance in problem solving related to resident care; monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations and coordinates the Infection Prevention and Control Program as set forth in the Resident Care Policy and Procedure Manual.Essential Duties : Provides directive and supportive consultation to facility staff.. Partners with the Medical Director, Executive Director and Director of Nursingto develop, implement, and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and plan.Oversees the Infection Prevention and Control Program including surveillance ofhealthcare acquired and community acquired infectionsConducts infection surveillance and reports routinely to the Quality AssuranceCommitteeDirects and assists in preparing reports, statistical data, and trend identificationfor the QA committee.
