Job Title: Camp Assistant
Location: Hill City
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Camp Assistant to support our daily camp operations and ensure a fun, safe, and organized experience for clients. This role involves assisting with various camp activities, setup, cleanup, and general support throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up Waterfront, Archery, and Program supplies each morning.
- Check and refill water and ice in jugs for campers and staff.
- Support meal distribution and cleanup for both morning and afternoon groups.
- Assist groups with various projects and activities as needed.
- Act as a runner, helping with errands and last-minute needs.
- Support waterfront supervision when attendance is high.
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are put away properly and secured after buses leave.
- Assist with afternoon group activities and preparation as needed.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Passion for working with youth in an outdoor camp setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive, structured environment.
- Energetic, responsible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in youth development, behavioral support, or outdoor programming is a plus.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and respond effectively in crisis situations.
- Must be non-judgmental regarding lifestyle, race, and economic status of participants.
- Must be at least 16 years old with a valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
- Previous experience in a camp, childcare, or recreation setting is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a bonus (or willingness to obtain).
Salary : $16 - $18
