Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: NIBCA Coeur D Alene Idaho Hours: Part Time Monday–Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM (weeknights and weekends as needed for events) Pay: Hourly (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to support daily operations and event coordination at NIBCA. This position plays a key role in administrative tasks, communications, and event planning. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a professional demeanor when interacting with members, vendors, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
· Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones, handling mail, and welcoming visitors.
· Prepare agendas and take minutes for staff meetings.
· Oversee office supplies, rentals, and meeting room reservations.
· Assist in maintaining the membership database.
· Other duties as assigned
Communications & Marketing:
· Handle basic social media tasks, including posting/scheduling pre-approved content and engaging with the audience.
· Post events and updates to community calendars.
· Send weekly email reminders for committee meetings.
· Design, approve, and distribute flyers using templates and brand guidelines.
· Update the company website under guidance.
Event Support:
· Assist with various event-related tasks before, during, and after major events, including the Home and Garden Show, Parade of Homes, and General Membership Meetings.
· Provide onsite support at events, including registration, setup, and coordination.
Qualifications:
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic graphic design software (Canva or similar).
· Experience with social media platforms and website updates is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
· Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
