Workforce Consultant (Title I Youth and Adult Services) - Waterloo, IA
This position will serve Waterloo and the surrounding area, withoffice location at IowaWORKS in Waterloo, IA.
CATEGORY / LEVEL : PSS / 7 (12-month position)
BASICFUNCTION : We are seeking a highly motivated andexperienced Workforce Consultant to oversee Title I services as part of theIowa Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for youth and adults. As aWorkforce Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing,and evaluating programs and services aimed at enhancing the employability andeconomic self-sufficiency of adults and youth in Iowa.
STARTDATE : ASAP
SALARY AND BENEFITS : Startingsalary of $41,500 to $49,800 depending on experience. Benefits package includesBlue Cross / Blue Shield health insurance; eye care, dental, life and disabilityinsurance; paid vacation and sick leave; a choice of IPERS or TIAA retirementplans, and a variety of additional optional benefits.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in workforce development, youth services, education or related fields.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing workforce development programs, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Title I requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and communities.
- Proficiency in data management, report writing, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in workforce development initiatives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Master's degree preferred.

Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including opportunities for student recruitment.
