What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth T-Ball Coach position at North Mankato, City of (MN)?
1. Schedule and run team practice sessions.
2. Teach participants the fundamentals of t-ball through progressive skill development of t-ball skills. Emphasize skill development including safety, fair play, and sportsmanship.
3. Set-up, instruct, and supervise coaching and practice sessions.
4. Ensure proper sideline behavior from team members and parents. Ensure the safety of the team during practice sessions and games.
5. Supervise safe arrival and departure of children and care for the equipment ensuring proper use and collection of all items after each practice.
Must be 16 years of age or older and have knowledge of t-ball.
Previous experience teaching, t-ball or playing baseball or softball. Enjoy teaching elementary age kids. First Aid and CPR certified.
Under general supervision, ensures a fun and educational experience for elementary age kids. Teaching the basics of t-ball. Estimated hours of work would be up to 12 hours a week for 3 sessions.
Salary : $12 - $18
