You know what connected feels like when you are part of our team. #WhatConnectsYou #NMHSConnections Job Description The Compensation Analyst at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for implementing and administering compensation strategies including base pay, job classificaitons, job families, job pricing criteria, and maintaining a compensation structure supporting the company’s comepnsation policies and programs.
Scope includes participating in compensation surveys, updating market survey databases, providing guidance to leadership on compensation matters, evaluating roles for new positions, administering base pay changes, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Participates in compensation surveys and responds to inquiries related to submissions.Prepares business analysis for dedicated compensation projects including estimated cost impact. Responsible for routine maintenance and review of the market survey database to ensure quality data results and reporting. Responsible for routine system audits of the HRIS as needed to test employee compensation, pay code usage, and job profile setup. Continuous monitoring and maintainenance of the HRIS compensation structure including pay grades and job profile setup to ensure compliance with NMHS compensation strategies. Assist Director with compensation related communications and strategies. Provides guidance and expertise to leadership on compensation related inquiries that are consistent with the organization’s policies and practices. Evaluates roles and responsibilities compared to compensation survey mapping for placement of new and modified positions; audits process to ensure consistent application of roles and responsibilities including job description and system hierachy updates Responsible for review and audit of FLSA change requests and HRIS FLSA setup to ensure consistency and compliance and makes recommendations to HR Leadership as needed. Responsible for review and approval of pay code access requests and makes recommendations to HR Leadership for approval of new pay code setup in HRIS as needed. Responsible for comparison of survey benchmark data to NMHS compensation strategies; makes recommendations to HR Leadership for any variances that would impact NMHS Compensation strategies for recruitment and retention of workforce. Remain current on all Federal and State regulations related to Compensation matters. Assists with annual employee compensation budgets as needed. Responsible for evaluation and prioritization of requests to HR system enhancement and modifications to existing systems or new product requests for HR as related to matters concerning compensation. Monitor existing HR operations and make recommendation to improve processes and system optimization. Collaborates with AAP Program Coordiator in matters related to job profile changes.
