Job Description: Nurse Practitioner Family Practice
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Eupora, Mississippi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the Clinic and/or Long Term Care setting according to the scope of practice outlined by the Board of Nursing, approved protocols, and national standards of practice as directed by the physician preceptor.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and/or family members with education related to the disease process, health, and wellness, serving as a resource for community agencies as appropriate.
- Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient status and patient care activities including treatments, procedures, and medications prescribed.
- Continuing Education: Stay abreast of changes in medical management and participate in a variety of health care education activities.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate Degree preferred.
- Licensed in State as a Nurse Practitioner; required.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an RN preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication required.
- Maintains working knowledge of skills and current technology; required.
- Interaction with a patient population of all ages ranging from neonates to geriatrics, required.
