Job Description
The School Supervisor will work under the general supervision of the Principal or designee to supervise children while on school grounds and buildings. The successful candidate will maintain order and discipline through various approved supervision techniques, including proactive prevention strategies.
The School Supervisor may also assist staff with supervising student detention periods and other behavior modification activities. A combination of experience and education equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of experience working with children is required.
The ideal candidate will be able to work indoors and outdoors, and in a positive and tactful manner with all ages of students. They must also be able to maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, teachers, co-workers, administration, and others encountered in the course of daily duties.
