Seasonal Grounds Team Maintenance

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Course
Superintendents, assist in maintaining the 160-acre property that is North Oaks Golf Club
Functions:
Attends daily Grounds Team meetings
5:30 start time
Outlines daily/weekly goals and standards
Plays integral role with golf course set-up
Raking bunkers by hand and machine
Mowing greens, fairways, tees, rough, clubhouse lawns
String trimming around curbs, trees, and ponds
Pulling weeds
Filling water coolers
Performs other specialty maintenance when required
Laying sod
Hand watering
Tree/Debris cleanup
Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Follow training provided by seasoned staff members
Clean equipment used daily
Report any issues directly to the Equipment Manager
Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor

Qualifications
Employment Requirements:
Ability to communicate and work amongst a team
Attendance and punctuality is integral
Strong attention to detail and awareness of golfers/members
Always put safety first
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Provided 30-minute lunch break for shifts worked 6-hours or more
