Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting department's operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial principles. The Accounting Clerk will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilites:
Prepare rental deposits and record the in the accounting system
Record expense invoices and record in the accounting system
Prepare checks to pay expenses.
Monthly reconciliation of income and expenses by property.
Prepare monthly distribution to owners.
Monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist other team members with various accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
Real Estate accounting experience preferred, but no required.
Ability to learn new software programs.
Self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
