Job Title: CEO/Practice Administrator
Job Summary: The CEO/Practice Administrator will play a critical role for North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery and is responsible for managing all aspects of a 6 Surgeon, 4 location practice including overseeing the all day-to-day operations, clinical training, P&L, financial reporting, process improvement, and expanding the footprint of the business while providing strategic leadership to the managers and support staff.
Reports To: The board of directors/doctor owners of North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery
Job Responsibilities: The CEO/Practice Administrator will facilitate and establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. This role will drive and execute strategy, alignment, and key operational initiatives to enhance best-in-class patient experience and deliver a high performance team across the practice.
Essential Job Responsibilities: All shall be performed in accordance with OSHA, DEA, HIPAA, and NPOS guidelines and expectations.

- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range strategic planning, growth, and development.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, meeting profitability goals, improving provider and patient satisfaction, and contributing to market growth and development.
- Identifying daily operational challenges and providing solutions.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
- Oversees the business and financial affairs of the clinic and fiscal management including accounting, budgeting, internal controls, human resources, credentialing and timely reporting.
- Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Continually monitors operations, programs, physical properties. Initiates appropriate changes.
- Develop annual marketing plan focused on both referring community and direct to consumer segments to enhance practice growth while maintaining a high level of service to referrals and their patients
- Coordinates efforts with managers in establishing philosophy and objectives related to recruiting, on-boarding, performance standards, policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops strong working relationships with strategic external business partners.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations by implementing and monitoring personnel policies and procedures to protect employees and the practice.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment for all members of the practice by resolving any problems and keeping lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful atmosphere.
- Conduct staff meetings at regular intervals for informative and educational purposes.
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal organizational lines of communication, authority, and accountability with strict confidentiality.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in health administration or business administration or a related field, minimum BS in health administration or business.
- 10 years progressive leadership experience working with physicians in a private practice environment
- A solid working knowledge of medical/dental insurance
- Strong understanding of HR related systems and processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- An enthusiastic leader that conveys professionalism and confidence
