What are the responsibilities and job description for the LIBRARY CLERK position at North Richland Hills City Hall?
Library Clerk
The purpose of this position is to ensure that library materials are quickly classified, cataloged, processed, and made ready for customer use. This is accomplished by specializing in knowledge about Resource Description and Access (RDA), subject/genre classification (DDC21, GSAFD, etc.), and Machine Readable Cataloging (MARC). Other duties include providing various clerical services and interacting with other City employees and customers. This position does not provide direction to other City employees.
