Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Worship leader capable of leading vocal and instrumental teams for growing evangelical, non-denominational church in one of Boston's South Shore suburbs.
Responsibilities
- Lead instrumental and vocal teams for two Sunday services each week.
- Lead, mentor, recruit, audition and train team members to foster professional growth and enhance performance.
- Choose worship music weekly and introduce new songs to team and congregation..
- Schedule team members to fit your weekly plan.
- Prepare music for weekly rehearsals.
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Represent the organization at inter-church events, and meetings to enhance visibility and partnerships where appropriate.
- Help with weddings and funerals as schedule allows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of successful team management.
- Strong instrumental skills, preferably keyboard or guitar.
- Strong vocal ability, along with ability to assess volunteer abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and engagement.
- High commitment to evangelical theology and church ministry.
- Consistent character, humility and servant leadership.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24,000.00 - $28,000.00 per year
