Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child and Youth Single Point of Access Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and a commitment to fostering their development in a safe and engaging environment. This role is pivotal in linking students and families with school supports, community agency supports and private care providers.
Duties
- Promote early access, engagement, coordination and optimization of mental health treatment and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health problems
- Act as single point of referral between school, parents, community agencies and private services
- Coordinate services with students and families to link them with school supports, community resources and private care providers
- Communicate with Tier II and Tier III mental health teams to coordinate mental health referrals and ensure open lines of communication
- Assist in the Organization of mental health professional development for all district employees
- Develop systems and processes, including a referral pathway, related to streamlining the process and removing barriers to access mental health support for students and families.
- Co-Lead a comprehensive resource mapping project to be shared with school and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with School, Community and private practice providers to promote the needs of students and families.
- Organize monthly meetings with District Leadership to ensure awareness and understanding of project progress
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Director of Pupil Personnel Services, Project Director, Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in human services, health or a related field AND 2 years of experience working in a community service or human service program.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
