At North Sails, we attribute much of our brand awareness and digital growth to the strength of our marketing division. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a Jr. Marketing Coordinator to work closely with our global marketing team.
The Jr. Marketing Coordinator role is a dynamic position designed to assist the marketing team in managing digital content, event schedules, and SEO initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams. Key responsibilities include maintaining website content, managing media libraries, coordinating event schedules, and supporting various marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility. The ideal candidate will be proactive, articulate, and capable of juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
Objectives of this role:
· Support the Global Marketing team with content management, event coordination, and digital marketing initiatives.
· Maintain and update content across the website and department media libraries.
· Assist in executing SEO strategies to improve online visibility.
· Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely content updates and event promotions.
· Manage the event schedule and maintain an up-to-date online calendar
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Digital & Website Content Management
· Maintain and update the online event calendar, company directory, and store locator.
· Source, organize, and manage media assets, including selecting images for blogs and website placement.
· Publish and update blog content, ensuring accuracy, SEO optimization, and alignment with brand guidelines.
· Assist in content management for other NTG brands as needed.
· Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research, metadata updates, and content optimization.
· Proactively manage the content creation pipeline, ensuring projects remain on track with deadlines.
· Refresh and repurpose older blog articles to improve engagement, relevance, and SEO performance.
· Assist in sourcing and compiling client interviews and product testimonials for marketing content.
2. Event & Project Coordination
· Maintain and coordinate the global event schedule and online calendar, ensuring timely updates and alignment with marketing campaigns.
· Manage project requests and oversee the creation of a master project list.
· Assist in collecting and organizing market share data, following up with relevant teams as needed.
· Provide support on ad-hoc marketing tasks, events, and special projects.
3. Quality Control & Communications
· Proofread and test emails, website pages, and other marketing materials to ensure accuracy.
· Assist in collecting and organizing translations.
· Communicate effectively with internal teams to align on marketing priorities and project timelines.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, brand communications, or content management preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, particularly in proofreading, content accuracy, and project coordination.
· Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as Shopify is preferred.
· Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and best practices.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solve practical problems effectively.
· Flexible working hours to accommodate collaboration with a global team.
· Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
· Occasional work-related travel may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,500.00 - $46,000.00 per year
