North Seattle College is looking to hire Registrar-Enrollment Services.
Salary Range for this position is $92,902 to $128,293 annually.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Dean, Student Success, the Registrar provides administrative leadership, development and coordination, supervision, fiscal, and operational oversight for Registration, Records, and Credentials and serves as the college Registrar.
The Registrar supervises the manager of admissions, records and credentials evaluator lead.
This position is typically scheduled for working Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The schedule may vary depending on program needs. May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.

What you will be working on:
Serve as the college Registrar and custodian of the all-academic records and college seal.
Maintain and apply knowledge of applicable federal, state, district, and college regulations, policies and procedures.
Respond to internal and external requests regarding enrollment data and statistical reports.
Serve as the college Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) officer.
Promote and disseminate procedures for the campus about confidentiality and privacy laws of student records in compliance with federal and state laws and provide FERPA training.
Promote and implement the use of new technology and student-oriented customer services.
Serve on college and district committees and participate in professional activities, e.g. college liaison to the Admissions and Registration Council (ARC).
Lead the operational activities such as budgeting, staffing, coordinating, evaluating, and supervision of the day-to-day functions of the assigned Student Services units. (Admissions, Registration, Credentials, and Records.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and college regulations, guidelines, and processes pertaining to each of the assigned units.
Oversee the communication of policies and procedures to students, staff, faculty, and the public concerning each of the assigned units.
Provide oversight for staff responsible for the appropriate determination of residency statutes for students based on the Washington state residency WACs and RCWs.
Respond to legislated initiatives and mandates that require the implementation of services, products, or processes.
Participate in campus enrollment initiatives; serve as a member of Strategic Enrollment Management and Guided Pathways Committees.
Cultivate relationships and establish and maintain effective collaboration with all campus units and the assigned units.
Provide leadership for processes associated with the Student Management System (SMS) including security access for the student management system.
In collaboration with the Dean for Student Success coordinate and provide services in a manner that is responsive to the needs of students, the College, the District, and the community, facilitating student enrollment, persistence, and completion.
Collaborate with the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Community in promoting equitable practices, dialogue across differences, continual learning about equity, and collaboration.
Contribute to a transparent decision-making system that maintains and improves the quality of services. Use data to make informed recommendations and decisions.
Ensures that resource allocation is strategically guided and supports the achievement of the College's and District's mission, vision, and strategic plans.

Evidence of successful leadership experience working directly with a diverse, multicultural student population with an emphasis on leadership, team building, and student advocacy.
Demonstrated ability to successfully work with individuals representing a wide range of educational, professional, and cultural experiences.
Demonstrated familiarity with the goals and objectives of a comprehensive community college.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, manage, and build productive diverse teams.
Demonstrated technology skills in student management databases including experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or related college/state student management systems.
Ability to address, mitigate, and de-escalate conflict.
Five years of documented, successfully, and progressively responsible experience administering programs and student support service components of higher education.
Demonstrated excellent, and effective, organizational skills.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple budgets and analyzing enrollment trends.
